| Chet Baker Jazz Tribute Chet Baker is a jazz icon who was born in Yale Oklahoma. His impact as a jazz musician was pioneering. GHQ Jazz performs in tribute to Chet Baker (GHQ leader Bruce Guthrie organized "Chet Baker Day" 2005 , 2006, and 2007 , 2008, and is co-founder of the Oklahoma-based Chet Baker Foundation with Chet's son, Paul) All of the instrumentalists in GHQ group performed with Chet and are natives of Oklahoma. 2007/08 is the Centennial anniversary of the State of Oklahoma. In celebration GHQ Jazz is offering the music of one of Oklahoma's most accomplished artists...Chet Baker. |
